RM85,000 gone for what in Thailand?

william thien7 October 2012 17:07
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Chirist,

I am pleased to publish herewith Bishop Vun’s reply to my letter dated 6th October,2012. Should we stop writing at this stage and wait for Philip Lo’s answer?

Dear William,

Please note that I cannot answer all emails posted to me as our church's decisions are all done properly even if some may not believe so. We can not explain every decision to every one of our members. We have responsible leaders in our Standing Committee supervising our church's administration and please do not assume we are hiding things from anyone. As a responsible member you need to have some trust in our leaders who are leading the church responsibly.

I have asked Rev. Philip to answer you because the application for a visa to Thailand is NOT a personal or private matter. It is a test our Mission strategy was putting up last year to see if it is possible to get visa for retired couples to spend a year or two in Thailand to serve alongside our young missionaries. And the Diocese provided a "DEPOSIT" (all properly recorded and letter signed and kept in Diocesan office) for this visa to be done as a try-case. Our ACT office in Bangkok assisted with this effort. It is not a visa for me to migrate as some alleged. And because I have supported the Thai church planting work hands-on, I offered myself to test this first application. The deposit is not an expense but a deposit which will be returned (in full) to our church mission fund after one year . All these are properly recorded in our church office and our Hon Treasurer is in the know that this is a deposit. Rev Philip as our Mission Director was involved in the arrangement. The auditor did not know of this and should have asked our Hon Treasurer or our Mission Director - and an explanation would have been given.

So now you know the truth - and I hope you can at least do the honorable thing to correct the damages done by people who spread misinformation that has caused much harm in our church. You should at least come and see me if your heart is troubled by things you are not clear about before writing open emails or blogs that destroy trust and confidence in our church.

Anyway, I hope you can now put effort to build up the church and show love, honor and kindness. Too much gossip, doubt and falsehood have been sown in our Church lately. Let us help to sow the good seeds to build up the church.

Yours in Christ,

Bishop

Ps. Because you copy your mail to Archbishop Bolly, which I have asked you not to do so, as we should not trouble our Archbishop with matters we can resolve ourselves. I will cc this reply to him so his heart will not be troubled by this any more.

my say --

CONFLICT - IS avcf A RETIRED couple?

I offered myself to test this first application.

You have asked very good questions. That night, somebody should have asked which bank PLo had deposited the money into and where is the bank book to show there is Thai money equivalent to RM85000! Just saying that without proof is not enough.Since the money is in AV’s personal bank book,he should be the one to answer but he kept looking at PLo to give the answer! This is stealing, don’t they know that? I cannot help thinking how much could have been taken away so easily and yet AV said it was not possible for one man to withdraw a lot of money without the treasurer and the chancellor involved and now PLo admitted only he and AV knew of this.SC did not know!!! Another big LIE of AV’s! Isn’t this good enough proof to take actions against them and why was AV still allowed to carry on his road show, still spreading lies, money taken away even if PLo did it but put into AV’s personal’s account is the same as doing it together so why Plo took the blame alone?.AV is just as guilty!! Yes, the money sitting there earns interest but PLo said it would be returned but he did not say with interest! So can we also borrow money from the church to put it into our our accounts to sit there for one year and then return the money but the interests belong to us? If they were allowed, then anybody can because those money belong to the members, they have every right to borrow their own money.

  5. Nothing but this ‘madman’ in ADOS being spoilt by his GREED, his cronies around him including Standing Committee, Synod of mostly cronies, and blinded unqualified clergies.

AVCF is just testing ADOS how many more RM85,000 can be siphoned off elsewhere for his own rotten schemes. Now we want avcf to retrieve the RM85,000 if it is a deposit as there are nobody using this socalled “visa.”

Finally, AVCF always wants to push the blame to others and claims himself to be ‘clean’ and so as the Head or CEO of ADOS, he is held responsible for his conduct as the sole trustee and if any other persons under him is found to be in the wrong, he has to take appropriate action against them including legal charge in the Civil Court. Failing to do that , AVCF is GUILTY beyond all doubts.

If he is on the way to full madness, send him to the Bukit Padang Mesra Hospital together with all those close cronies.

Before your clouded glasses over whelm you, DONt jump the gun into judgement.
It appears to be proven that there s a lack of transparency, governance, etc. over the use
    of funds.
By jumping the gun to CBT, you may be courting slander.

In the same note that you accuse BAV of being abusive, you are using language likementally unstable, tpw, etc. Whats the difference?

Oh…..and stop blowing your own proverbial trumpet.
If you need to, blow God’s trumpet. :) “”"

Is not the RM85,000 paid to an account in Thailand for sort of visa as claimed – an items of several more – in the class of CBT?

If you agree, samtheprophet, we need to act together in this to remove the Bishop and also jail him after restitution of up to RM30m for twenty years as priest in ADOS till today.

  7. The Bishop confirmed in a question on this RM85k by Rosalind Liew that this amount was transferred to a private account in Thailand without the consent/knowledge of the Standing Committee.

Hence it is CBT or simply theft stolen by Bishop and Philip Lo.

MACC and Police should arrest them now.

Standing Committee should lodge a Police Report on this and then resign after that.
