Bishop Albert Vun - The Truth About Him and His Ministries
In this
blog, we want to set the record right - to present the correct view of
our Bishop. He has served as Senior Pastor (Priest-in-charge and then
Rector) of Good Samaritan Church from 1985-1990), then as Rector of St
Patrick's Church, Tawau from 1990 to 2006. He was consecrated as Bishop
of Sabah in 2006. He has brought much growth to the church, a speaker in
many Conference, an effective trainer of leaders, a strong leader who
can bring about change. He has a heart for church planting and
mission."
Under
his leadership and with the hard work of our clergy and lay people, in
the last few years, our Diocese has experienced much growth in Sunday
attendance, in annual baptism, in giving, in the planting new churches,
in many of our churches moving into self-supporting status, in
our youth and children ministries. Throughout the Diocese, we have now
over 300 congregations worshipping every Sunday with over 27,000 average
attendance.

now it is August, 2013 and why take so long for the audit of ADOS 2012 to be completed? If it is messy/manipulated/in disorder, it is not possible to do a proper audit unless its bookkeeping is done correctly. For this sort of account, the audit needs more care and time consuming. Why should this be when ADOS is 50 years old and a proper system should have been in place.
HT also wrote that 2010/2011 accounts would be re-audited after 2012 audit is done and it is now September, 2013. From all the information available, it is quite impossible to do a proper audit if so many items cannot be explained properly. Any auditors would be wary of the implications of such audit or re-audit after so many comments already made every where. Do you think such auditors would like to take the blame after so much scrutiny already exposed. Opinions already formed and the re-audit would need to show a higher level of performance and more documents would need to be produced for the auditors to do a proper job and if such documents are not easily available, then the said Auditor's report would likely be a farce.
From a brief look at the ADOS's accounts 2010 and 2011as presented at the Synod Aug/Sep 2012, a large junk of the activities of ADOS were omitted in the accounts and some activities were not supported by proper accounts. Hence, there are many missing links and we need a consolidated accounts for all the activities of ADOS not fragmented statements of accounts,
It would be a great 'miracle' or great 'fix' if the 2010/2011 can be done at low costs and present a satisfactory effort.

To be very honest, nobody can audit the ADOS account for 2010/2011 in the form it was presented at the Synod 2012 as it is very incomplete and many items of the activities not accounted for and could be into tens of millions of Ringgit.
How could Paul Chong allow such an account to be prepared?
Under the gang head AVCF, it is full responsibility of the rotten head to make sure the accounts are not mismanaged and once mismanaged, no auditor can do anything unless the complete set of accounts are presented properly.
So this is good enough ground to charge all those involved with the management of ADOS especially the AVCF.
When I submit the Writ of Summons on AVCF in the High Court in june 2012, this item of ADOS 2010/2011 account was not available until Sept, 2012.
So the Writ of Summon must be refiled now as with the passage of time GUILT is now exposed and can be easily confirmed.

2. AVCF must be prepare to lay bare all the accounts for 2006-2012 for the public especially the Anglicans to see. What was presented in Synod 2012 was definitely unacceptable.
When we talk of the accounts, please don't mix it with emotion as it is either it is done properly or not done accordingly. No point to accuse anyone of misinterpretation and it is AVCF duty to show all the records to support the final accounts as presented.

You just come on in this blog or your are speaking for the hardcore criminal.
AVCF did that in the late 1980s when he was priest in charge in Good Sam and he asked for forgiveness and then he continued to do harm to the Church and the endless in ADOS after assuming the Bishopship with many bold moves of embezzlement, mismanagement and malpractice etc etc.
Now what has AVCF done to redeem himself for his crimes when he did not dare to face the truth.
