Assurance on equal treatment for all religions

KOTA KINABALU: Minister of Special Tasks Datuk Teo Chee Kang has assured that the State Government would continue to ensure equal treatment for all religions in the Sabah.
Teo said the support of the State Government towards the development of each and every religion in the State, including churches and temples, showed that the government respected the freedom of religion.
Teo said that when meeting Sabah Council of Churches (SCC) committee members, led by its president Rev Dr Datuk Bishop Thomas Tsen Lip Tet, at the former’s office here on Monday.
During the meeting, Teo and SCC discussed various issues concerning the Christian community in the State.
Tsen also informed Teo that the next community project of the council would be the Gaya Street Christmas Celebration jointly organized with the City Hall. The event is hosted by the Methodist Church this year.

SCC committee will also arrange a courtesy call on the Chief Minister to thank the State Government for the support rendered to the Christian community in the State

    Would this not be duplication and wasting time when Datuk Teo is acting on behalf of the "Crim Master"?
