Any concerned lawyer?

  1. Concerned Lawyer
BAV in his 3rd pastoral letter announced the court injunction on him is suspended. BAV also stated he was guided by 3 lawyers: Ronny Cham, Kenneth Thien & Stephen Foo. This is contrary to the court’s decision and the truth. I was flabbergasted by this blatant lie, yet after reading the two exposés I suspect BAV is a serial liar. If he could lie to the Standing Committee and Synod, what’s stopping him from lying in his pastoral letter.
My learned colleagues and I are convinced the court injunction is in place. Not only was BAV in contempt of court, so are Ronny Cham, Kenneth Thien & Stephen Foo as BAV acted on the advise of his lawyers. If BAV’s action is not shared by his 3 lawyers, then Ronny Cham, Kenneth Thien & Stephen Foo should discharge themselves from this case. Otherwise, Ronny Cham, Kenneth Thien & Stephen Foo should be cited in CONTEMPT OF COURT.

AV has 3 lawyers helping him and I was wondering how come none advised him that he is under court injunction and what he had been doing could be charged as contempt of court. He did say he sought the advice of his lawyers, did he,only known to himself. He said the court injunction is lifted,it is still in his pastoral letter on the Anglican Diocese bulletin for weeks.JK can use that as evidence.Kenneth, take our advice, move out before it is too late.Do it for your family, please!

URGENT, as my present lawyer is too busy to deal with so many cases , I want to take up.

Ex-Anglican, I won’t be so harsh in condemning the Synod delegates. This is a lot of information and numbers to digest. Even professional accountants had a hard time making sense of it. The blogger had taken over 2 weeks to publish this information. The account does not seem straightforward. The question is why? What is the purpose of preparing the account? One can make it straightforward and easy to understand. Or one can make it hard to understand so not many can ask questions. Then we have to question the motives.

Also, the honorary auditor was an Anglican member appointed during the Synod. We must thank him for his professionalism and integrity. Without him, we won’t have a clue how bad is the situation.

Many people are hurt badly. It will be a long time before we can trust our clergy and leaders again. Lots of soul searching to do. We need God to clean up the house.

    Concerned lawyer,

I am disappointed that you wrote “We need God to clean up the house.”.

Yes God can clean anything but still you and all to do it for God in this serious matter done by human hands etc.

We have a legal system to do it especially the illegal Synod 2012 is not to be respected by any system.

I think there is a concession for any registered association or NGOs that once the members concerned has passed the Financial Statement that was final unless there was someone who opposed it at the AGM or Synod in this case. Am I right in the context of the law? I think this is for practical reason and if thousands of NGOS or registered associations go to the ROS with such complaints, the ROS cannot cope.
As for ADOS, ASC, we are not registered with ROS, we can only go to the HoB or the Civil system for solution now.
The problem we face is that the Synod 2012 had approved the lousy financial Statement.
What choice do we have now?

Thank God, the Synod is illegal for what we know.
Maybe, we need to go to the Police, MACC, apart from the HoB.
For the HoB, it is to be a new complaint apart from the 5 had done.
So can we meet now to DO that rather than talk or write (others included here) so much.

Lawyers are very expensive and the plaintiff or complainants need to do a lot of work in such effort.
So the sacrifice of members in such action need to be helped out and we need to do more than just talk and write.

I hope my appeal would not go to the dustbin or we cry together too late as we will lose out to the biggest thieves in ADOS now already confirmed.
