subject: Si Quis for Philip Lo Vui Chong - an OBJECTION
mailed-by: gmail.com
This is a message received from a BM member in the interior churches to share with the world regarding AV and Philip Lo:-

TRANSLATION:

Since he (AV) became bishop, he forced all priests/pastors to bring all their church ‘chops’ (seals) to the Diocesan Office and appoint Philip Lo as project manager, and Philip Lo used only one company to carry out almost all of the projects of the interior churches and things were quickly carried out because all the ‘chops’ of the interior churches are in the Diocesan Office. Bishop and Philip Lo are making every effort to keep the name of this company secret.

I heard there were written objections about the ordination of PLo officially sent to BAV, and his 2 assistant bishops but BAV still went ahead to ordain PLo. The complaint was with valid reasons. Moreover, BAV has refused his official Diocesan Chancellor to witness the ordination. Why? Because that ordination was illegal? Instead he appointed another ADK lawyer friend from his tawau church to witness the ordination of PLo. Is this unlawful? Why & why? His Diocesan Chancellor could flew in tawau for another meeting yet BAV told him no need to witness the ordination. Hanky panky ? Wow! That is to show our BAV is outrageous and his unlawful practice has proven his character.

You know what BAV said in the ordination service? He wants to train his workforce in house so he justified the need of the celebration centre. 2 points for BAV to answer: 1) You need to celebration centre to train your priest or to facilitate your wife’s students? 2) Why are you training your own people? You have problem adopting other theological training which is biblical based?

OPEN  LETTER TO THE CHURCH LEADERS
Rector Canon Yong Thiam Choy (sort of illegal position in ASC,

Re:Si Quis for Philip Lo Vui Chong

Whoever is responsible, please clear the above-mentioned items before ordination to priesthood.

Also would the Diocesan Chancellor witness the ordination?  If not, is the ordination legal?

Why Philip Lo not on the pastor list of ASC, be allowed to proceed to priesthood?

Can husband and wife team work in ASC?

Take notice of this protest, or those responsible should immediately resign.

  1. I am showing the emails of those people for you to make similar protests rather than in ASC only as the third Si Quis can be held elsewhere.

    so protest now.

    Dear Mr. Joshua Kong,

With reference to a message thought to be sent by an anonymous member from the interior churches `to share with the world regarding AV and Philip Lo', I Bishop Melter Jiki Tais, an assistant bishop, rector of St. Luke's Mission Telupid and also overseeing the Central Archdeaconry (comprises mainly interior churches) strongly deny and refute all the false allegations stated in the message. Basically, the allegations are:

    1. That since became bishop, Bishop Datuk Albert Vun forced the priests and pastors to bring their church chops (seals) to the diocesan office. As far as I am concerned, there is no truth at all in this allegation.

    2. That Philip Lo being the Diocesan Project Manager used only one company to carry out almost all of the projects of the interior churches, and things were quickly carried out because all the chops of the interior churches are in the diocesan office. With regards to projects in the interior (for example construction of church buildings) it is a normal procedures that the priest and his local PCC would discuss the matter first. After that, they need to submit their proposed drawing plans of the projects to the bishop for tabling in the Standing Committee for further inputs and approval. Once the project approved to commence, the local church is responsible to look for a good and reliable contractor to do the projects. So, I must say that there is no truth in this allegation.

    3. That Bishop Datuk Albert Vun and Philip Lo make every efforts to keep the company's name secret. Again, I strong deny and refute this false allegation.

Reading the message above (thought to be sent by a member from the interior churches), I can confidently say that the message was not written by a member from the interior. I know very well the attitudes of our interior people. Our people got high respect for our leaders especially church leaders such as bishops, clergy and pastors. We will not do such ungodly act against our church leaders. We value very much the biblical principles about respecting and honouring our church leaders. David did not dare to lay his fingers on King Saul though Saul was an evil king and tried to kill David. Why? Because David knew that King Saul was God's annointed king. Of course, at the end God Himself dealt with King Saul. Our people know what honour and respect is all about. I can assure you that, you would be warmly welcome and honoured by our people if you come to us with honour and respect. So I conclude that the message was NOT written by a member from the interior churches, but by an urban person (not necessarily from the BM congregations).

    Yours sincerely,

    Bishop Melter J. Tais

  5. 1. What about his mental, spiritual emotional capability?
    2. What about his ‘deaconship’ witnessed by a lawyer but not the Diocesan Chancellor? Valid?
    3. Why he lived in Deanery for almost six years when he should have known he was not entitled?
    4. Why his name is not listed in the ASC Sunday bulletin since his illegal deaconship 2011? Hence his training is defective and not identified.
    5. What about all the allegations in ASC about his performance in projects and his first sermon in ASC? How many sermons had he delivered to enable more people to assess him?
    6. What about his rigging of the election and votes of ASC AGM 2012 as alleged? Was it he self appointed himself as a scrutineer?
    7. Does he have a full records of his performance in church especially after illegal ‘deaconship’?

    Be accountable - Albert Vun
    God bless ADOS and ASC.

No uni degree but have a little bit of commonsense writes.
FYI, during Dean Khoo, My friends & I were entrusted with the tasked to have all the pews at ASC repainted with glossy shellack.
The Cathedral provide us with brushes & shellacks. We were only paid a token sum of RM 200/- per person but we never complaint. It was for the love of God we took up the tasked.
I nearly had an heart attacked when our Canon YTC congratulated Ps.Philip Lo for a very good job done on the pews vanishing during sunday church services a couple weeks ago.( Would any street wise person would said a very good job done, when ASC was poorer by having to pay an exorbitant amount of RM 50,000.00 to have only 50 pews vanished ? ). Secondly, was there a need for Canon YTC to angkat the Mission Director ?
BAV, said he trusted Mission Director to take charge of all renovations, carpeting, lighting & etc etc, because he " WAS " a contractor before.
My contractor friend told me he can get the same job done with only RM 20,000.00.& still made good profit.(ie. get 4 Filipinos and pay them RM 25/- per day. If each clean & vanish a pew a day, multiply the number of days for 50 dews to be done equal the total amount for workmanship). Binggo, actual cost to get job done minus equipments.
In the best interest of ASC, BAV & the entrusted Pastor,I urged all MUST be seen to be
C L E A N by having at least a minimum of 3 different quotations from 3 different sources for all future jobs to be awarded.
All quotations MUST be sighted by elected PCC members & Treasurer.
Don't behave like our BN government who loves to negotiate closed door tenders and this will lead to lots & lots of abuses.
Always remember you are not spending your " grand father's " money,so to speak.
I leave it to all our parishioners in ASC to see for themselves whether it was money well spent on the pews for God's glorification ?
Over to you my brothers & sisters in ASC.

BAV has announced he will ordain mission director Philip Lo to be a priest. Speaking objectively, we all know this is really a scam & insecurities BAV has been practising.

We all know Philip Lo's no voting rights status was always allowed to vote when it comes to big sum spendings. So, the promotion of mission director now as priest is merely to legalise all objections of voting rights issue and also to cover him from going astray to expose BAV's dirty dealing in all building constructions and land deals.

The title of mission director is BAV's trick to the entire diocese but the real reason is to fill BAV’s insecurities. Let's do an evaluation of work done by mission director since his appointment. How many kampungs and interior churches has he visited since his appointment? How many trips has he taken by boats to the villages and how often does he do that? All missionaries traveled with old 4 wheel drives and sometimes by foot or boats to cross the river but the mission director has to travel with Land Rover discoveries Td series and he sometimes has to use BAV's old Toyota Land Cruiser VX Limited (more of an excuse to show a need for BAV to request a new car from the standing comm don't you think?).

All the questionable deals in millions from building constructions of Kokol Prayer to land acquisitions and cathedral renovations, BAV has involved Philip Lo very closely and gotten his advice instead of his committee. WHY NO BODY OBJECT THE SI QUIS? We only have 2 more Sundays to object, if not, BAV will say nobody objected so he went ahead!

More objectively, is the ordination a new spiritual birth of more of BAV’s PERSONAL CONVENIENCE? Philip Lo is not theologically trained and he is proven arrogant at most time. Can anyone remember him and his wife tried to stop English congregations voters at the registration desk from getting eligible ballot paper to vote? How arrogant was he to the family of the victim that died instantly with the DOS’s Land Rover Discovery driven by him? Not even a cent of compensation nor word of apologies to the bereaved family! How has he advised all constructions & land deals that has not been transparent?? How can we afford to have another same characteristic as BAV? Getting more toxic!

Aiyoh, yoh!how can this Philip Lo be ordained as a priest when not a single cent was paid to the bereaved family! It must be opposed at all cost, how can a mission director be a priest especially one being so heartless! Has anyone heard PLo preached? How come we have a mission director in ASC whereas in the past,we never heard of the word!!! How much is his salary? If he is ordained as a priest, that means he has 2 salaries, one as the mission director and one as a priest.By the way, does AV collect 2 salaries.one as Dean and one as bishop? Nobody knows what is happening in church affairs-it is so hushed up like the accident occurred with PLo.Only now we know, please reveal some more from those in the know.I am getting more and more 'sick' hearing all the 'going ons' in our beloved church which is now the battle ground for those in authorities and the members.
All must come out to object against the ordination of PLo and if AV still goes on with his intention, then don't go to attend the ceremony, choir, ushers and members of the church.don't go so as to show your protests.Let the church be empty .This is a testing time for AV .If he continues not to listen and goes ahead with the ordination, then all the members will know there is no return, actions must be taken,if not all these blogs of out cries are gone with the wind.

Two thousand year ago the cross standing tall at Calvary hill with Son of God ,Jesus Christ being crucified. Lord Jesus died on the cross to redeemed our sin. Since then this cross become a important symbol in christian live.
Two thousand later, Bishop Vun Cheong Fui & his supportive Mission director Mr Philip Lo , decided to erected a Falling cross Prayer House in Kokol Hill with costing about RM 5 million. Since this Falling Cross prayer house completed, numerous problems being high lighted.
This is a shameful , which human flesh to made the decision to apply a building base on the message of the cross.
Jesus Christ died on the Cross, is a cross full of POWER & WISDOM of God. That cross is forever STANDING TALL. It is a VICTORY CROSS . Is not a falling cross. Jesus died on the Cross is defected SATAN. Jesus died on the Cross is defected SIN. Jesus died on the Cross is defected SEPARATION.
The Satan never defect our MIGHT GOD. WHY the cross is falling in ASC prayer house ? Do you really know the WORD of GOD ? ARE YOU ANTI CHRIST ?

Kokol center was build NOT on solid foundation. Erosion had started at the building corners. many more to come. it is just like a fool who build house on sand instead on solid foundation. P Lo is the one who supervised the building. He go no engineering knowledge and expertise to do so. He should be held responsible but instead he is to be REV very soon. BAV says in the synod that he is responsible for the mistake if any. The buiding top floor is slanting, dangerous to walk, a wastage of materials. BAV says it is unique but l say it is a cover up of his mistake. He and P Lo should resign because of this blunder. What a shame.

Ps philip lo formerly work for Syarikat Brumas Jaya Sdn Bhd(SBJ)as a engineer cum strategic planner. SBJ purely secured government jobs by way of direct negotiation of prices.the job secured mostly by way of connection.most of d prices are minimum of 40 to 200% higher than open market prices.if some government officers are blocking their way, they will be transfer overnight to other departments.they normallly instruct the suppliers to inflate the quatation to suit their interest.

The five greatest traitors to the Anglicans community are :-

    The Chancellor.

It was day light robbery done by the Lo's in the last AGM ?
Was told by BM Youth that collected my second vote for Dr.Chhoa resolution, that Philip Lo instructed them to start collecting the votes when Dr.Chhoa
was giving his views as to why parishioners must support his resolution.
It was also the Lo's who had instructed them to keep the trays of votes on the table where Philip Lo was seated.
Philip Lo, why some trays were not taken to the counting center after the 2nd. round of votes were collected immedately after Dr.Chhoa gave his view ?
We must form an election watch task force in all elections to keep an eyes at the Lo's, Mary Vun, all Priests spouses and staff members of ASC & DOS.
These robbers hang a huge banner fronting the main gate, " JUSTICE FOR MALAYSIA " ?,LOL.
Our ex-AG Datuk had lost all credibility and shall we address him as Datuk with an additional ' L ' after the two ' O ' ?
JUSTICE FOR ASC, DOS & all ex-Dean & Priests of ASC & DOS.

Beware, you are been watched Albert Vun, Philip Lo & John Yeo.
Most likely Philip Lo will be behind bars. We will be getting quotations from others contractors to compare on previous jobs done in the Cathedral
on renovations, pews vanishing & carpeting. We shall post it at the blog soon for all to see & compare.
Do not let these theives get away with the crime.

Ordination of priest is up to the Bishop to decide who he wants to ordain but the bishop must follow what the Bible say.
    Please read Leviticus 21:17-23
Simply said no one who is crippled (fake Rev Philip LO) may come near to offer food as this will desecrate the Lord's sanctuary.
In other word, BAV is above the Bible if he so desire to ordain P Lo to the priesthood.
Maybe BAV have his own bible that says otherwise
    Anonymous10 July 2012 03:52
Didn't the hubby & wife tell tales team reported back to Albert Vun about Gillian Chhoa view her concerned to Fake Rev. Philip Lo as to why the Cathedral has to change the carpet costing RM 50K when the previous carpet was still brand new ?
Guess what was Albert Vun's replied to Fake Rev. Philip Lo ?
Who is she to questioned me, I am the Bishop of Sabah !
Do you called this not perfect leadership or abusive leadership ?
    Sound familiar Albert Vun ?

From a Member of Christ Church Likas…
    http://thetruthasc.wordpress.com/2012/08/17/from-a-member-of-christ-church-likas/comment-page-1/#comment-726

    August 19, 2012 - 4:41 pm LoKungKung
Today’s sermon at Christ Church Likas was very good. Finally the Priest decided to rebuke his master subtlety. It takes great courage to go against such a boss and I think he has now the courage following the open protest by his congregation on the ordination of Philip Lo. Today, he emphasised that Jesus is the head of the church. The church does not belong to him or in that matter to his boss. Jesus is the head, the chosen one. It was so true that I almost wept.
Slowly the young priests now see who their boss is. After service, the buzz was to ask the 30 brave members about their meeting with Bishop on Wednesday. I could not believe what I heard but it was concurred by a few, so it must be true.
Bishop said that Philip Lo has done a lot, including building rectories all over the state at a rate that DOS never experienced before. He even went as far that Philip even did up the present Rectory for Christ Church and we should be thankful, otherwise we would not have a rectory. And he even scorned that the PCC at that time was reluctant to receive it although Christ Church only had to pay RM170,000 of which he was also not sure if Christ Church has paid by now. What a slap in the face for all the 600 faithful Christ Church worshippers. I will now relate the TRUTH and nothing but the TRUTH here as I was a PCC member then and knew what happened. All other PCC members at that time can be witnesses including our Rector then, Bishop John Yeo.
Christ Church Likas had a Rectory when the parish first started. It was at a single storey detached house directly in front of the church building. After Kinabalu International School moved out from the building next to the Church, the PCC renovated the building and a very nice Rectory was then created. The then Canon Simon Chin moved in. When Rev. John Yeo came, he stayed there. It was big, spacious, fully furnished and next to church office, making it very convenient for the Rector.
Meanwhile, the Mission Quarter next to All Saints School was vacant after the principal Mr Y. Mathai left and Mr Tutik Garuda left. Under the era of this new Bishop, Philip Lo renovated that house lavishly for himself, spending RM300,000 excluding the fittings and furniture. After staying there for a few months, the Bishop Lodge was completed and Bishop moved out from the Deanery and the Los quickly moved into the Deanery, to be closer to the office and Stella can work (or rest) from home on the excuse that she has young children to educate and to look after.
The amount spent on the Mission Quarter has to be justified and who else but this young and eager for promotion priest would be the best to “swallow dead chicken”? So Bishop called up John Yeo and told him to move there and uses the Mission Quarter as his Rectory. But Christ Church has to pay RM170,000 for the renovation cost.
At that time, John was still raw and presented the proposal to the PCC. The PCC was reluctant to receive it as

    1. The cost was not reasonable
2.The term was not clear. The PCC asked Bishop to state the number of years that the quarters would be given to Christ Church. But Bishop said it was for long term without a definite term. The caution was that it would be taken back sooner than expected. How long is long? 5 years? 20 years?
    3. Christ Church already has a Rectory.
    4. The initial offer was the Mission Quarter that Philip stayed, the flat attached to All Saints School which is occupied by Ps Lydia and her husband then. Now it is occupied by Ps Ivy Long. AND the vacant triangular piece of empty land next to Pertama Furniture. The Bishop withdrew his initial offer and took the land back as he later realised that it is generating income from advertising boards.

    [part 1]

    ReplyDelete

  13. [part 2]

    5. Although the sum was RM170,000 it was to be paid from the general fund and thus it meant that to be able to generate RM170,000 to pay DOS, Christ Church must collect RM250,000 from the members. After deducting the 35% assessment, we can then only have the nett RM170,000 to pay. But in actual fact, CC would have paid RM250,000.
After the initial refusal during first round, John Yeo than colluded with a few of his loyal allies in the PCC and took advantage of the few silent ones and managed to push through the proposal according to the terms of Bishop Albert.
So Albert, if you want to raise the past, don’t let the past haunt you. You manoeuvred the whole thing and when you suddenly raised it in a meeting about Philip Lo, our brave brothers and sisters are not equipped and they made you look so good. If I had known, I would be there to rebut you with the TRUTH. This is alike hitting below the belt.

    QUESTIONS-
    Who approved those expenditure?
    Was quotations obtained?
    Was any tender procedures applied?
If we keep such people in ADOS, soon finished and bankrupt..by selling all the assets of ADOS,,,
