A land deal in the making

A land deal in the making This is kind of a proposal and some people would believe it is the end of world. A family is given an option to exchange a piece of prime land of say 7 acres in the city with 40,000 acres of secondary forests out in the wilderness and no money would be involved, would this proposal be acceptable? The piece of land in the city with some good building can be worth something like RM500m and upwards and it is in great demand in the marketplace. This option is loaded with an agenda where the person who offer the forest land would expect to grab the 7 acres as cheaply as possible and possibly have some under table deal. There would appear to be no transparency in this deal. The crux of the deal is that how much is the value of the forest land with strict restrictions on logging? Even if that land in the wilderness be developed into agriculture purposes, a lot of cash investment would be needed. The children in the family as beneficiaries of the city land are not even told of this land deal in the making. The head of this family has an extraordinary power to sign of the land deal. Similarly, the person who offer this option also has extraordinary power in land deal. Unfortunately, it boils down to greed on both parties. So who would be the victims of this socalled scandal to unfold? The likely victims are quite powerless to block the deal and that is very sad indeed. Joshua Y C Kong

  1. It is rumoured that ASC ground would be "lost" somehow as someone is eyeing for it...

the secret modus operandi of exchanging land - not like with like in value - is exposed.

    Believe that?

It is expedited if the House of Celebration or CC of AV goes on to be developed when we do not have the money to do that. That would indebted all members and so we can lose the land of ASC.

The ground breaking appears to be a 'secret' on 24 July, 2012 on ASC but not mentioned in ASC bulletin.

It is in the Church of Good Samaritan, Penampang. Why???

The Sabah Anglican churches are splitting and if AV is allowed to stay on,he will make his own constitutions, choose his own PCC and Standing Committee and retain all the priests that are on his side! He is now manipulating the whole diocese to support him then there is no need to go to the archbishop or HOB and he will appoint more ass.bishops.What then Anglicans?after all,all the church properties are now registered under his name as the trustee and also those in overseas.Don't say it will not happen, one can't be too sure with AV. Now is the time to get all the churches to rise up,come one ,come all,do you want to see your beloved Anglican church go to somebody who is bent on taking it away, bent on changing rules to suit himself?

In the concluded message of the Bishop on Synod 2010, he mentioned (page 30 of Synod 2012) “Bishop challenged the members to rise up with faith like Joshua and Caleb.” So it is indeed prophetic for Christ’s church that Joshua Kong – the name sake come in 2011 and onwards for the God’s glory in ASC, ADOS and beyond..so accept this with humility and humble hearts and to God be the GLORY..and no more crocodile tears at any more functions, accept the reality

In this reply to Richard and Chris, AV want to compare himself to Moses who did not go into the promised land.

So in ADOS, AV is not leading us to any way or where here except to sell off all ADOS land for his own gains and he is playing with time. So remove him early or immediately. some people are aware of that and not telling.

  9. Can AVCF confirm this piece of very important deal-to-be?

Can Musa Aman confirm this piece of very important deal on the table?

Would it be good or bad for Musa Aman with the control of state land offer to ADOS for outright of 40,000ac empty wilderness land in Sabah, like sort of ‘promised’ land?

Musa Aman an ex student of Anglican school St Paul, Beaufort and also All Saints School for his Form 5, should be grateful for the schooling to give to ADOS the said piece of land without any conditions and NO exchange of ADOS's land as ADOS land in prime areas of Sabah are worth a lot of money although most of Anglican church land were given by the State Government ( also from Colonial days) or some rich church members.

It is not fair that if there is to be an exchange of 40,000ac plus some cash for ADOS land especially the piece in ASC, and this deal-to-be is done 'under-the-table". Without transparency and knowledge of all Anglicans except a small group, this deal-to-be must be made known to all members and beneficiaries to be voted on. All deals must be resolved that OPEN way.

This deal-to-be is unfortunately delayed by the consequences on GE13 as it can be considered as "land grab" if there is not properly done in the OPEN.

See how the tug-of-war (time factor) going on with the disappearing acts of AVCF as this is a dilemma as the right time to complete the deal that is not going to benefit the members and beneficiaries of the Anglican church.

So beware of the "TROJAN HORSE" buying or stealing TIME is using every twists and turns to outplay the members and beneficiaries using whatever means at TH's disposals just to drag on until his mission to the "promised land" is accomplished. Very SAD.

Don’t you read the writing of TH on the wall such as “to grow the church” where a very big piece of land is needed. The membership can only grow in the interior where the 40,000 ac of land is located. That is the vision of the TH but it is not going to work as long as it is done in the dark.

There is nothing WRONG if Musa Aman just donate the state land of 40,000ac to the Anglican church without any exchange or any conditions.

What would happen to ADOS if it loses most of its prime land where all the local churches are sited as the Anglican heritage?

40,000 ac may sound very attractive and to develop it would need at least RM10,000 per acres hence we would need RM400m immediately for that piece of land while in the urban areas we may need more than a billion Ringgit to rebuild the Anglican churches.

How much is 40,000ac empty wilderness land worth? Say at 2k-5k per acres, it would be RM80m or RM 200m? Our investments in our churches and land is worth RM2b although God’s land is not sale, but under TH it is likely like 30 pieces of silver.

The arithmetic just does not work out fairly.

Say-say tail jim, tai loi tail kim..

  10. So many can wake up now for real.

Beat around the bush, missing in church, delegate duty to all illegal people like the Rector as Dean in ASC; delegate his trustee duty to others as illegal. and that is the modus operandi of the chief THIEF..missing in ASC AGM 2012, crocodile tears in Diocesan Synod 2012 and that is his tears for not able to quickly accomplish the dark land deal, and Dr James Chhoa my friends, don't be misled by that when that crocodile tears is part of his hidden agenda like Judas..

Why not AVCF table the land-deal-to-be at the Synod 2012? Maybe all would say YES as the chief land grabber is waiting because of the deception..and gains only for a few..

The long list of the land grabbing of the chief land grabber must be exposed.

  11. There is also the other side of the story for the hero land grabber if this sort of dark land deal goes ahead...

    damn sensitive, my God.
