Archbishop, you keep your pen and ASC is in deep problem now. Not an over-reaction from me.

Very sad for all especially ASC and then later ADOS the slow and sure way to be destroyed.
Who would audit the accounts of ASC with those messy things still going on?

Is Paul Chong still around?  How to appoint the new auditor now?

Imagine, AVCF got big bonus for what he had done to ADOS and ASC

New auditor would be scared to take up the job as there will be plenty queries.
So if the audited account is not available, how to go on with AGM and that is sure
a casualty created by AVCF, YTC and his gang.

Ask the new dean Rev Chak be prepared for 8 hours of marathon AGM and dinner to be provided for more four hundred as I will have at least twenty pages of queries including all the Constitutional issues of ASC/ADOS/ASC Cathedral Chapter to ask even without the 2012 account on 24 March, 2013.

It would be  at least 8 hours from 2pm because it is an election years and a few resolutions from me and others,
I would not accept "NO answer" when YTC or AVCF are not around.

I am sorry Dean Chak, for the inconvenience because you have inherited a very HOT chair,

So prepare for the very tough session and don't say no time but be warned of the very lengthy sessions.

Please cancel the early part like your sharing at the beginning of AGM as there is no longer any thing to share.
If you want to avoid suspense, please Dean and the Treasurer please bring the full set of accounts with the ledgers and accounting documents for examination like who sign the cheques at the  AGM.

Please bring all the PCC minutes as we cannot tolerate LIES like what AVCF did on 15th October, 2012 at the same place in ASC.

Kota Kinabalu: This time around, sermons in most churches centred on the Christian God's greatest gift to Mankind - Jesus Christ.
The crib reminds Christians how a child was born for us and a son was given to us by God, said Archbishop of the Archdiocese of Kota Kinabalu, Datuk Rev John Lee.
He said the child was Man as well as God, conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit, and born of the Blessed Virgin Mary. He was crucified and then resurrection from the dead.
"That is the mystery of God. Christ was anointed by God to save the whole Mankind. He has to be a real man and a real God to save us.
"I want you to recognise the child and Son of God. The child is the Saviour, Christ the Lord. Fall on your knees before Him and worship Him," he told the congregation at Midnight Mass at the Sacred Heart Cathedral on Christmas Eve.
Saying secularism was coming into the world, Rev Lee said it was as if the world had no God.
"Too many Catholics have no faith in God. We have to ask for the Lord to give you faith. Try to know who is Jesus. Unless we know, we will not experience His presence in our life.
"Walk the way of Jesus Christ. Follow Christ in your daily life.
Listen to the word of God," he said.

In his sermon, Bishop Rt Rev Datuk Albert Vun of the Anglican Diocese of Sabah stressed that if Christians missed the visitation of Jesus Christ over Christmas, then they would have missed Christmas altogether.

Praying for the Holy Spirit to move in the hearts of the congregation at the All Saints' Cathedral, he said:

"When celebrating Christmas, don't miss Jesus or you will have a sense of missing something.

"Be humble and open your heart to receive Jesus - your Lord and Saviour who died on the Cross for our sins. This is the greatest gift you can have on Christmas Eve and God will extend grace to you on Christmas Day.
"Make room for Jesus in your heart. He came to save those who are lost - sinners."
Meanwhile, Rt Rev Vun lamented that Christmas would lose its meaning if people celebrated the occasion just because of presents.

"If we talk about the Christmas tree and shopping only, by and large, we would miss the message and meaning of having an encounter with Jesus Christ.

"We should be talking about Jesus and not about Christmas Night in New York or Osaka, for example," he said.

At SIB Likas (English Congregation), President of SIB Sabah, Datuk Rev Jerry Dusing and wife, Senior Pastor Lee Lee welcomed the people to the Christmas Celebration Service.
"May God's peace dwell richly in your heart. May the grace that we encounter at this time of Christmas cheer remain throughout the year," they said.
Meanwhile, Rev Dusing said God is real and His love has impact on our lives.
He led the congregation in praying for God's continued blessing in our homes.

This is the greatest gift you can have on Christmas Eve and God will extend grace to you on Christmas Day. 

This is irrelevant as Christmas is joy  and nothing wrong to give gifts from shopping ---

A Bishop in Sabah is being investigated by a three-member Advisory Committee for alleged abuse of power and mismanagement of the Diocesan Mission Fund.

The trio visited Sabah on July 3 and 4 but did not to meet the Bishop when they approached his office as he was away, church sources told the Daily Express.

The setting up of the committee comprising an assistant bishop, the accountant and a lawyer was endorsed by the House of Bishops in the Province of the church in Southeast Asia (consisting of the Diocese of Kuala Lumpur, Diocese of Singapore, Diocese of Sarawak and Diocese of Sabah).

One contentious issue raised is that he spent money without prior approval of the Standing Committee of the Diocese of Sabah.  The Cathedral concerned allegedly ran into a deficit of almost RM1.2million between 2010 and 2011.

“The Bishop renovated the Bishop’s lodge six years ago.  How much did the exercise cost?  No account was presented.  When the Diocese bought a property in Thailand for its mission work there, it was purchased under the Bishop’s name, instead of the registered with the office if the Bishop of Sabah.

“And it is true that the Bishop sold a piece of land (belonging to the Cathedral) to finance the construction of a church complex in Menggatal?  There is absolutely no transparency, no accountability, no open tender in administrating public funds,”lamented a parishioner who on condition of anonymity.

The task of the committee, which is commissioned to investigate malpractice (if any) ws ti interview the complainants and other individuals, pertaining to issues of the Bishop’s personal conduct, the exercise of Episcopal authority and certain transactions entered into be either the Diocese of Sabah and/or the Cathedral here.

In a letter dated May 15, 2012, and addressed to the Bishop, the standing committee of the Diocese of Sabah and the Parochial Church Council (PCC) of the Cathedral in Sabah, the Archbishop of the Province of the Church in South East Asia, who resides in Kuching, said he (Archbishop) has received a written complaint dated March 2, 2012 and signed by five individuals against the Diocesan Bishop of Sabah.

According to him, the House of Bishops (excluding the Bishop of Sabah) had deliberated on the manner and decided not to dismiss the complaint but to take investigative action.

“As the matters involve the management of the affairs of the Diocese of Sabah, and also because the matters that have brought to our attention have the potential to affect the integrity and reputation of the life and witness of the Province of the Church in Southeast Asia as a whole, action by the House of Bishops is warranted,” the Archbishop wrote.

The House of Bishops also ordered an audit or, where necessary, a re-audit, by an independent firm of auditors , of the financial statements and accounts of the Diocese of Sabah and the Cathedral, Kota Kinabalu “to ensure that all expenditure  in relation to the several matters raised in the complaint, some going back to 2006, have been properly authorized and accurately reflected, and to express a professional opinion as to whether a proper system of accountability and internal controls exists to approve expenditure and maintain the separation of expenses of the Diocese of Sabah from that of the Cathedral concerned.”

Based on the Archbishop’s letter, the Advisory Committee is expected to report their findings to the House of Bishops on or before August 31.  He hoped to see a lasting solution to the crisis that has affected the Diocese of Sabah and its Cathedral.

As it is, he has also been acting as Dean of the Cathedral for the past six years since his ordination as Bishops, instead of appointing another person to the position.

Angry Christians also questioned the Bishop’s declaration that anyone who had not attended the church for the last six months would not be buried in the church-allocated cemeteries.  This threat forced those who joined a breakaway church to return to the fold.

There had also been talk that the Bishop was being investigated by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) for embezzlement of the Diocese Mission Fund.  However, this could not be confirmed.

Dear Most Reverend Datuk Bolly Lapok,

Season Greetings of the blessed Christmas 2012

2.         This FINAL warning in an OPEN letter is very important and not intended for any purpose for the TRUTH of BISHOPGATE already well established in Anglican Diocese  of Sabah (ADOS).

3.         The grave consequences of the BISHOPGATE arising by the many (countless) wrong doings of  Bishop of Sabah - ‘bishop’ Albert CF Vun since 2006 and their impacts on the suffering lives of the members and beneficiaries of ADOS.

4.         After going through so much including the process of a Civil Suit and several OPEN letters as published in my blog namely bishopgateinanglicansabah.blogspot.com, this the final item with the very firm warning.

5.         If this very firm FINAL warning is not heeded instantly, the dire consequences of BISHOPGATE and continuing thereof would be fully blamed on the Archbishop of PSEA and the APHOB. 

6.         I would like to refer to the two letters by APSEA dated 18^th September, 2012 and 19^th December, 2012 wherein the proposals are nothing to resolve the very grave and stinking BISHOPGATE.  I can show 1,000 pages on BISHOPGATE largely based on my research in documentary evidence.  Yet some people keep on harping worse than a child where is the evidence.  The commissary appointed in the absence of AVCF (if AVCF ever goes on Sabbatical leave on February, 2013) would be too busy with routine jobs and commitments and how to solve BISHOPGATE?  The mediator is ever appointed would be engulfed with getting to grip with BISHOPGATE and possibly personal life in a new place.  So I call it a ”RED HERRING” for the mediator to be effective to solve BISHOPGATE as how to get AVCF to cooperate?  It is meaningless to retain AVCF as the bishop even on leave.

7.         So this is the final terms in finality to the Archbishop of PSEA:-

7.1   Suspend AVCF as Bishop of Sabah and remove him as the sole trustee as he has mismanaged the resources of ADOS all proven in documents.  The losses of mal practices in ADOS are into tens of Millions Ringgit and AVCF has become so rich at the expense of ADOS and members and beneficiaries of ADOS.

7.2   Settle the BISHOPGATE within the church with the final offer of RM33m as spelt out in my OPEN letter to confirm settlement of BISHOPGATE.

7.3  So we can have a Vicar-General pending an appointment of a permanent Bishop with amended Constitution of All Saints’ Cathedral and ADOS.

7.4   The mediator only can perform the spiritual correction in ADOS, not the financial debacles on the massive wrong doings of AVCF in ADOS and beyond.  A mediator for an embracing crisis is a “RED HERRING”.  Once the item 7.2 above is done, the performance of the Mediator is made much easier.

7.5   All cronies of AVCF is not subject to correction should go.

7.6 Most items in BISHOPGATE are subject to the assumed possibility of an independent audit of the Diocesan accounts since 2006 but the whole system is already in fatal mode.  The cost of such audit is prohibitive and the results can be inconclusive for known reasons all identified in the “audited account” and management letter of the honorary Auditor on the years 2010 and 2011.  This proper audit or forensic audit would take too long and the devastation of ADOS would reach a very critical stage exacerbated of much lesser tithe in recent months.

7.7  We need to suspend the Constitution of ADOS together with all those committees thereof.

8.         All the terms in paragraph 7 can be done in a final letter.by APHOB as canonical disobedience is all embracing when dealing with DISORDERS.  That must be done and we can take control of the Diocese office and a revamp would be on the way.  AVCF had done it to a dozen and more priests in 6 years, and the Archbishop can do likewise.

9.                  A commission of truth and reconstruction can be established once AVCF is removed possibly chaired by the Mediator if still needed for a short time.

10.            God is in control of the ADOS.  To God be the glory, and why fear man?

Trusting this is in the best interest of  God’s Church in ADOS forever into eternity.

Re:  Your recent performance in Anglican Diocese of Sabah

This open letter is based on recent developments as published in the Diocesan Bulletin Issue No. 40, December 2012 (DB 40).

2.1              Sulaman Anglican Church

In the DB 40, the first service was held on 7^th October, 2012 but the photograph published did not see you amongst the alleged 111 present.  In the ASC Sunday Bulletin of  2^nd December, 2012, you wrote “This morning, I am visiting and preaching at the new Sulaman Anglican Church” It is no longer a new church but an incomplete church without a name sign board which was only fixed on 22^nd December, 2012.  You like to post pictures of your events in the homepage but the event on 2^nd December was not there.  So was the function/service held?   The picture of the church was also missing in the newspaper advertisement (DE 23.12.2012) as I believe there was no name.

2.2              Movement of clergy within ADOS and FCC

2.2.1    I do not know whether it is justified for those transfers within ADOS church within Sabah as published in the DB40 when only two key posts were appointed for the Dean of ASC and .Rector of St Michael & All Angel’s Sandakan.

2.2.2        About the movement of pastor Stella Lo and her husband to FCC, why is it she left on 7^th December 2012 and only turn up in FCC on 24 February, 2013 meaning they are paid for almost three months for leave for what?  Did not they take their annual leaves for 6 years?  Please show us the records.  Also how would ‘Rev’ P. Lo still be effective as mission director and project manager when he is based in FCC away from Sabah?  Plesse confirm the status of the positions of P. Lo.

3.                  Confirmations and bonus to AVCF

According to the pictures of the 27 confirmations in DB40, I think ‘Bishop’ AVCF only appeared in three events.  Were these the total confirmations in 2012 when there are about 50 churches?   Why were there no confirmations sessions in the other churches?  Confirmations are annual high points in any Diocese and the churches?    How do we assess of AVCF of three out of 27 confirmations?  In the time of his predecessor, there was only one Bishop and the assist Bishop was appointed much later.  Do you think AVCF can be entitled to any bonus in 2012 be it RM20,000 or RM120,000 (unverified) for this performance?

4.                  The Menggatal Anglican Church.(MAC)

In the homepage’s directory,   MAC was listed as 27-28, 1^st Floor, WTK Building, Menggatal New Township, with telephone number 088-493551.  In the newspaper advertisement of Daily Express page 31, the same church is listed at Pekan Menggatal (not clear) with telephone 493551.and this church is sited in AVCF family land bought by ADOS.  What had happened to the premises at Menggatal New Township?  Also the Christmas service was advertised as a combined service with   Telipok Anglican Church but Teleipok Anglican Church is not in the homepage’s directory.

5.                  Clergy and pastors of  ADOS

Does the ‘Bishop’ has a list of clergy and pastors in his office?  Does he know the actually number of clergy and pastors under him in ADOS.

6.                  I am doing it as it is current affairs and you are a bad administrator.  The earlier you are removed it is better for all in ADOS and beyond.

7.                  I will be issuing a final warning in another OPEN letter to the Province of Anglican Church in South East Asia’s House of Bishops.

OPEN letter to confirm settlement of BISHOPGATE

OPEN LETTER TO CONFIRM SETTLEMENT OF BISHOPGATE   24^th December, 2012

Further to the Advent letter from APSEA HOBs by Archbishop B Lapok, there is a mediator (a red herring) from outside.  It is a red herring because it is incapable to resolve the massive burden of BISHOPGATE due to the massive wrong doings of Bishop of Sabah AVCF (no doubt about it).

While there are many grieving instances during the period of AVCF from 2006 to today, the financial implication is the key issue to be resolved and time is not in the hand of ADOS and Sabah Anglicans.  Every day the BISHOPGATE is unresolved,   the losses in term of precious image and monetary value are unquantifiable.  So why let this happen in the Body of Christ in Sabah and  beyond?

We don’t need the mediator.  We don’t need to go through a few more rounds in the civil authorities such as civil courts, Police, MACC, Bank Negara etc., etc.

We will settle it once and for all in the spirit of Christmas as a divine miracle and no Bible verses from me except Goodwill of Christ prevail in ADOS and beyond.

It is a known fact that the presence of AVCF (fully expended and expired)  as the Bishop is not doing anything good for Sabah Anglicans like he had shut his heavily renovated Palace at Bishop Lodge for almost RM1m from members of the Church since 2006 for Christmas OPEN house.  So we have come to that stage to shut AVCF from the office of Bishop of Sabah.

AVCF knows very well what he had done since he became a Rector in the Church of Good Samaritan, Penampang more than 20 years ago and today it is reported in the blog that the same church member did him well by providing him a 20ft container to remove his chattels at the Bishop Lodge.  Imagine only a very rich man like AVCF from a humble pastor/priest have so much personal belongings to bring with him to his new mansion of RM1.2m or elsewhere.

The financial settlement before AVCF leaves office with forgiveness from all Sabah Anglicans is very easy and simple and no complication please as it is not good to all parties including the APSEA House of Bishops who do not know what to do except to push the massive burden to a mediator.

So it is a repayment of all money (embezzlement) presumed taken by AVCF and families and his cronies and the asking amount is RM33m to ADOS.  The terms of payment need to be resolved too.  When he fully paid up the said sum, he can take with him the few assets of the ADOS such as the 5 storey shophouse of RM4.7m at Sulaman, the apartment at University Apartment, Sulaman (RM250,000); the Sipitang Land (RM850,000); Kokol Prayer Summit (RM8m), the Menggatal family land (RM761,800), the properties in Thailand, the RM85,000 Thailand Visa Fund  and all the 19 vehicles of ADOS (RM2m) or any other assets to be negotiated.  So in effect, it is only costing some RM15m (net) to him.  So it is very cheap and made simple.  We have to list out the major liabilities you have committed for ADOS and then decide how much you have to be held responsible.

If AVCF agrees then we do not want to see the books but the bank balances –current and deposit accounts – must be maintained today at the level as at 31.12.2011 less reasonable and recognisable  disbursements from 1.1.2012 to 31.12.2102.  No further explanation or questions on the accounts of 6 years be asked.  Please also you bring with you your supporters and cronies in clergy and laity.

Once the key Sabah Anglicans agree to this settlement, we can enter an agreement whereby all other measures of action by  concerned Sabah Anglicans would be suspended and the ADOS can move on with the Goodwill of Christmas 2012 – the Jubilee year of the All Saints’ Cathedral (100) and  Anglican Diocese of Sabah (50).   To God be the Glory.  Amen.

OPEN LETTER TO ALL SABAH ANGLICANS

 “Therefore, my dear brothers, stand firm. Let nothing move you .  Always give yourself fully to the work of the Lord, because you know your labor in the Lord is not in vain”  1Corinthian 15:58

I have been very patient asking some good lawyers possibly pro bono to guide us not me alone to expedite the Civil, Criminal, Police Report, MACC, Bank Negara, and any other possibilities.

All these involve proper planning and a lot of executive effort.

The other day many were angry when they alleged me impatient with HOBs.  So I am proven right now as any delay by them already exposed themselves to willy dilly.  This crisis has been brewing for six years or even to 20 years as our members in Good Sam can testify.  Yet the HOBs did not show any urgency.  To add salt to injury, recalcitrant AVCF was not even suspended and he demanded people to give more as one pastor prayed that those who do not tithe would be made poorer. 

The 18 September 2012’s decision by the HOBs was unconstitutional.  What else to talk when in the Court document, AVCF boasted about the rules of the ADOS and APSEA Constitutions.  Definitely birds of the same feathers had given away their last cards.  Anglicans should react to such disorders when God is about ORDER.

Then the 19^th December 2012’s Archbishop Advent Letter only uphold the earlier illegal terms plus only one additional “mediator” which is meaningless if AVCF stays as Bishop.  HOBs don’t push your duties and your responsibilities to the Commissary and the Mediator and believe AVCF would listen to them as AVCF still have the prerogative to do what he likes in ADOS by remote control.  If that happen, all the Bishops in HOBs of APSEA are also determined as recalcitrant.  Are the Bishops absconding from the top duties and canonical disobedience to God, they all pledge to serve? So  their socalled anointing by God is deceitful and fake and scared to act in very demanding, stressful and even endangering scenario.  No excuse now, if Jesus could go to the Cross for all of us, then why fear men?

Can the mediator be effective in the effort if AVCF does not turn up with all the documents to prove his innocence.  Rather, when we have all the documents or none of that, the obvious is that AVCF is guilty on all counts.  It is anticipated the mediation would fail and we will blame the BLOOD in the hands of the Bishops of APSEA as BISHOPGATE must be resolved long ago, now into another few months or never.

I knew all alone the HOBs of APSEA are incapable people and useless to wait for them.  All necessary action could have proceeded in parallel while many of us waited for them.

Now the expectation is even bigger from Sabah Anglicans although some blame me for the failed civil action that ended on 18^th December, 2012.

I am surprised why HOBs waited for the decision of my civil action for the Advent Letter the next day.  The delay was just meaningless as the new term of a mediator was simply a red herring in the ongoing crisis

Based on the opinions in thetruthasc blog, it is very likely after the very long wait for internal settlement with the worsening crisis, what is left for the Sabah Anglicans to pursue to overcome the very sinful development in ADOS some already evident and some still on the way to emerge?

My  civil  case would be re-filed soon, while others are contemplating more aggressive approaches to remove AVCF as bishop to quicken the healing and restoration process in ADOS.  The butler at Vatican only committed one tenth of what AVCF had done, and yet the RC Pope forgave and sacked the butler.

I wish all the best to the 5 complainants and the 10 appellants and hopefully they would find the right legal formula to achieve the common objective namely remove AVCF and his cronies.

I would like to caution them of my experience after dealing with the legal case for more than six month in a new journey gaining some experience in streamlining the case in a re-file.

I believe there are at least ten options to move the case in the Civil Court, and all very tough challenges but it is meaningless if the recalcitrant bishop stay in office although on Sabbatical leave with access to the resources of the Diocese to defend his rotten case.

So we need to move a package of ‘untested and untried’ legal and other methods in dealing with the recalcitrant Bishop.

For this we need a task force by Sabah Anglicans, for Sabah Anglicans and of Sabah Anglicans and outsiders should stay clear.

Another laughable and very grieving  instruction from the HOBs is that we stop all actions and do nothing when we are the victims, and let the aggressors to go on with the massive wrong doings. Don’t use the blogs, don’t use the Courts, Don’t use the Police, while the aggressors use all the facilities of the ADOS including the pulpit, the church and diocesan bulletins, the Police to attend ordination service in church on 29^th August 2012 and the ground breaking of House of Celebration on 24^th July, 2012,  press, Courts, etc.

Of course Sabah Anglicans are doing much to salvage the ADOS and church of Christ and so what is wrong with that?

Christmas is the best time to redirect/re-energise ourselves when we allowed ourselves in slumber during the last Christmas when I was told of this BISHOPGATE.

What the Archbishop Bolly Lapok of HOBs had proposed in his Advent Letter is useless
in the context of BISHOPGATE when tens of millions of Ringgit is gone from the Diocese of Sabah.

So much embezzlement, so much criminal breach of trust, so much breaches of trust, so much undocumentation in payments of fund, so much prerogative abuses, so much onemanshow, and so much everything in personal matters known and yet to be exposed....

You mean sending a commissary and a mediator from somewhere can solve BISHOPGATE.

Nothing would be resolved in a year unless all restored in financial losses and restitution of illegal takings etc.  All wrongdoings to be confirmed beyond doubt.

Actually with AVCF as Bishop, there is nothing to stop him to operate by remote control.

All documents of assets of the Diocese should be handed over to me.

Why should we allow a criminal like AVCF to keep the assets as a totally failed sole trustee?

Sue me AVCF, or the Archbishop takes the full responsibility for all losses done and yet to come.

I am very reluctant to write to you because you did not bother to reply to my mails including AR Registered Letter.

But this time, I am writing before you go on your sort of Sabbatical leave and I want the answer before do so.  I don’t think anyone else can answer my questions and I also believe you may not like my questions.  Nevertheless as a bishop, you are responsible for this project in the captioned title.

The Questions and comments are as follows (no politics but hard facts):-

1. According to the 2012 Synod papers, this corner 5 storeyed shophouse in Sulaman, near Kota Kinabalu cost some thing like RM3.46m in 2011, but some put the project at RM4.7m.  Which is the correct figure?  How much did the renovation/improvement cost to the Anglican Diocese of Sabah?  Can you give a detailed breakdown of the money incurred?
2. Can you let us have sight of the documents – legal and otherwise for this purchase?
3. Is this a project partly financed by All Saints’ Cathedral like most new churches around Kota Kinabalu, and if so how much of that money for this project come from ASC and others?
4. You 'officiated?' this new church on 2^nd December, 2012 rushing from All Saints’ Cathedral 7.30am service after sending off the Lo family  to FCC with a blessing, but was the new Church ready with a proper name sign board?
5. One of the church members sent me a photograph taken on Saturday 22^nd December, 2012 showing some workers and crane fixing the new name sign board at the 4^th Floor.  (please see attached).  You wrote you were preaching (officiating?) in an incomplete church on 2^nd December, 2012.  Was it just a deliberate move to avoid seeing the ASC congregation again after that service on 2^nd December?
6. Today Sunday 23^rd December, 2012, in Daily Express there was a full page Advertisement about KK Anglican churches’ Christmas worship services.  D’Sulaman Anglican Church was at the bottom right where the address was given as 4^th Floor (top floor).  So I would like to know what would be used for the other four floors?  You have also bought a flat in University Apartment of RM250,000 for the accommodation of Pastor Sonia, whose husband a Diocesan priest died in  “suspicious” scenario after an alleged heart operations (one or two or more).
7. I have been to your ADOS homepage  and found nothing more of the said new church on 2^nd December, 2012. where you preached.  I would like to see the size of the first congregation.

I need to get the straight answer from you as ASC would soon hold its AGM sometimes in March, 2013 and you would not be there to enlighten us especially this church is challenged by a nearby existing Anglican Christ the King.  So why the need of this church in that context?

I doubt anybody including the Diocesan Chancellor and the Diocesan Standing Committee can answer my questions especially when the 5 floor building and only one floor at the top is used as the church.

Although the ADOS is not in normal business, I wonder how can the church ever recoup the more than RM5m spent in this project.  This is a new area and how can anyone get any reasonable financial returns for the other four floors likely to be empty for some time.  Please tell us your plan now.  Maybe it is another white elephant like Kokol Prayers Summit costing up to RM8m while many rural Anglican churches are crying out for some desperate fund.

OPEN letter to DC - Affairs of ADOS in crisis

Dear Sir,

Re: Affairs of ADOS

I have yet to receive/hear / reply  from you my earlier OPEN letter.

2.      Needless to remind you as the Diocese Chancellor as an independent officer according to the Constitution of the Diocese of Sabah

3.      To justify your salt and light of worth as the Diocesan Chancellor since August, 2008, please redeem yourself with a proper reply to this OPEN letter.  When you reply, I will forward it to all my mailing list for all to judge you.

4.      There are many issues I want seek clarification from the Bishop but the Bishop has absconded from his duty and pushed it to you and so you have to do justice for the Diocese without fail.  The Bishop is so scared to face me in the civil court if he is so clean and you have carried his burden of mud in court and elsewhere that you have really earned the moral victory with Ronny Cham.

5.      So in this letter, I am to highlight some key issues in the press, the dialogues on 15^th October, 2012, in Court and in Kuching etc.  I hope you will tell the truth like the recalcitrant Bishop wrote he did everything in truth.  Needless for me to quote any biblical verses when we handle secular matters.  It is like what the Bible says “Don’t use the name of God in vain”.

6.      The several issues here are all the members and the beneficiaries are very concerned at the stage of rottenness in ADOS.

6.1          Your performance in public is questioned as what you did or did not do in the All Saints’ Cathedral AGM on 1^st April, 2012 when the acting Chairman was illegal hence the AGM was a nullity and scared to let the High Court to deal with that.

6.2         Your performance is again questioned with the Diocesan Synod 2012 held in August/September, 2012 which was unconstitutional in several factors and yet what did you do about this?  If you were also missing, you should have advised the recalcitrant Bishop as the Chairman.  The accounts  were messy and rotten and yet the two years 2010 and 2011 were approved by Synod, which is acknowledged by the Anglican House of Bishops headed by another  ‘recalcitrant’ and ‘useless’ if not a ‘hypocrite’ Archbishop BL in South East Asia.  Everyone knows the financial crimes as already shown in the “mis-audited” accounts, and now we need to scrutinize all 6 years accounts from 2006 under the recalcitrant bishop AVCF.

6.3         “Bishop under Probe” in Daily Express of 17^th July, 2012.

Was you the very clever person who acknowledged that the anonymous Bishop was Anglican and you demanded the newspaper to publish your fully reply and instead a skeleton  reply was given by DE in a letter on 21^st July, 2012.  Did you get an apology from Daily Express?  If not, why did not you sue DE?

The Daily Express also did not publish your complete press release and you have to search your conscience as others have judge the Anglican Diocese under the dubious spiritually anointed leader as recalcitrant.

6.4          In the “Bishop under probe”, one of the issue was the purchase of properties in Thailand. If you want the Daily Express to believe you, then show all the proof to clear the alleged ‘criminal’ doubts.  The Bishop did publish a pastoral letter on 21^st July, 2012  to admit the ‘criminal’ breach of trust for one property only when several properties worth more than RM1m were registered in the personal name of the Bishop using God’s money.  What is there to threaten to sue Daily Express?

6.5         What about the purchase of the property in Tenom for RM365,000 (now inflated) and in the dialogue on 15^th October, 2012, you  further misled the aggrieved and angry members and beneficiaries with your funny and foolish replies that you did not receive anything from the good lawyers handling the S&P Agreement.  Why didn ’t you tell the people that it is solely the deed of recalcitrant Bishop and the AVCF did not consult you. Why AVCF was quiet seated on your left?  Silence means what here?

6.6         What about the purchase of the Sipitang agriculture land for RM850,000 at a very much inflated price on 23 December, 2009?  Did you handle this deal?  Is it CL or NT and if NT, whose name is in the title deed?  Please give me the title number. If every thing was properly documented, how can there be miscommunication as alleged by AVCF?

6.7         What about the Visa Fund of RM85,000 said to be a deposit in Thailand?  Were you consulted? Now is the deposit returned to the ADOS with interest earned?

7.      It is seen in the internet that quite a few Bishops have been taken to the Civil Court by the Diocese Synod, the Diocesan Standing Committee for whatever such similar offence and breaches of trust. Many had been convicted even before the E-Court was convened.  Once convicted, such Bishops would be removed. 

8.      So you as the Diocesan Chancellor and an independent officer of ADOS have you considered any such action in paragraph 7 above?  Instead what we see from your performance, you have sought moral victory not for the Diocese and the members and beneficiaries but for personal self gratification or whatever

9.      If you have not done anything expected of you as an adviser in paragraph 7 above, would you have done justice for all in the Anglican Diocese of Sabah and beyond when you were in Kuching on 28^th November, 2012 as an unreliable officer in BISHOPGATE.

10.  From your performance so far, you can mislead others and I call on you to search your conscience now.

11.    To redeem yourself as a last resort, would you recommend the Diocesan Synod of Sabah and the Standing Committee be disbanded to path the way for a proper resolution of the prevailing crisis now worsening.

12.    About the issues I raised in paragraph 6, can you arrange all the documentary proof to prove yourself and the bishop are free from any wrong doings or breaches of trust?
