If the project Celebration Centre goes ahead in the present scenario, and without the money adequate to see it to completion, danger of a white elephant will arise.
Once that happen, ADOS would be forced to sell it cheaply or ADOS and ASC face bankruptcy.
If AVCF is loaded, he should use his money to build CC to fulfill his dream and that would be a legacy.
Otherwise it is NOT on for the CC.
On the otherhand the 9 acres of land where ASC and Bishop house is located is worth anything not less than RM500m without any buildings.
Why RM500m? A piece of land less than 5,000 sq ft was sold recently at RM7m making an acres worth RM70m.
So we need to preserve our Anglican heritage where our forefathers's legacy is precious to all.
If AVCF agreed to my proposal for a multi-storey complex at the front carpark all paid for by the developer (exchanged for kind) and the members in a co-operative for Anglicans, we could have used it in 2010.
